widely known there. While in Assam this festival is named as Bihu and
celebrated with joy and gladness.

in several parts of India. In Maharashtra this festival is understood as Makar
Sankranti. Everyone loves til-gul ladoo. People exchange these ladoo and accept

prepared and enjoyed by everyone. In Gujarat many of us fly kites in terraces.
Thousands of kites are often seen within the skies of Ahmedabad, Vadodra,
Rajkot, Surat, Jamnagar where people enjoy flying kites. You all know when
people cut any kites and it falls to the bottom people cheer using phrases like
"kaypo chhe", this is often a famous gujarati phrase used when a kite
is cut. you only saw how this festival is widely known by flying kites and
sharing ladoos. However, while flying kites don't forget birds. Please save

A story is Entitled "Kite and

father was flying a kite on a terrace together with his son Kite which touches
clouds within the sky and was blowing very beautifully with the wind. After a
while, the son said to the father- Dad Let the kite go further, Father said to
Son, "we don't have any longer threads now", Son said – meaning Kites
haven't been able to go up because of thread. So now we should always break
this thread, and thus the kite will go up. this point Father said nothing Just
broke the thread, Kite started rising with thread and above, and above. But
after the trembling, it started coming down and went away and fell on the bottom.
Son asked father - why did this happen? Why did the kite fall? His father
answered – at the height of life during which we are we often find that variety
of the things we've been tied to are preventing us from touching the height of
life like parents, disciplines, family, etc. That's why we expect that we
should always be free from them. The way the kite is tied with thread within
the same way we also are tied to them. this is often the thread that keeps us
at that height. If you break this thread, then you'll attend the peak like that
kite once, but later just like the same kite will get away and fall to the bottom.
As long because the kite will remain tied with thread Until then, he will keep
touching the heights of the sky, because success in life meets the balance of
the entire family. As is claimed... Cannot break the thread of your kite,
