On 29th September 2016, the Indian army conducted a surgical strike at LOC (Line of Control) in which multiple terrorists were killed. But Pakistan completely refuses to accept that any such surgical strike happened. Let's see how much Pakistan media and Pakistan government had spread lies in the past. That is why Pakistan can't be trusted this time also. Pakistan's biggest lie was around Kargil War in 1999. For 10 years the Pakistan Army denied its involvement in the Kargil war but in 2010. The Pakistan's government acknowledged its involvement and admitted 453 soldiers that were killed from the Pakistan Army which means for 11 years the Pakistan army lied to their country's citizens.
If you look it generally Pakistan army,
government and their official statements have been very inconsistent overtime.
One can find a lot of examples of such inconsistencies everywhere, let's take
an example of Kargil war. If you check the website of the Pakistan army today
also in the war history tab, there is no mention of the Kargil war. So, this is denial but if you look deeper to the website they mentioned captain Colonel
Sher Khan that he was a brave martyr in the Kargil War. So you can find a lot
of inconsistency on a single website. In 2006, Pakistan's ex-Prime Minister -
Pervez Musharraf - in his biography himself admitted that Kargil war was
pre-planned. This plan was being laid out at the time when India's ex-PM Atal
Bihari Vajpayee was preparing for his Peace Journey and Pakistan's prime
minister Nawaz Sharif confessed himself in 2004 that their Army General
backstabbed him on Kargil war.
The 2nd biggest reason why Pakistan's
government and Pakistan's army can't be trusted Is because of its education
system. Let's see a debate that happened in Pakistan education system. In class
5th Punjab's textbook of Urdu, page number 102 says that Hindus have always
been an enemy to Islam" again in class 4th Punjab textbook says that Hindu
religion doesn't teach good things. Hindus does not respect women, doesn't
honor them. Social studies textbook states that "Hindu declare congress
rule as a Hindu rule and started to unleash terror on Muslims". The war
that happened in 1947-48, the 1960s, and 1971 were all on Kashmir issue, this
is there in the textbook. Most of the people present here are less than 25
years... ...and they all say that (Pakistan's) education system spreads hatred
and do propaganda. So, you can see that Pak's youngsters themselves agree that
their system spread hatred and propaganda.
Now, the 3rd thing comes is about terrorist
attacks whenever there is a terrorist attack in India which is done by
Pakistan's terrorists. Pakistan never accepts that, but whenever there is a
terrorist attack in Pakistan than Pakistan always blames India and R.A.W....same
party chief minister is saying that this is done by R.A.W. He is being
supported by R.A.W. of India to carry out these terrorist attacks. There is the
involvement of R.A.W very clearly stated that R.A.W is involved. They also said
that our bureaucracy present new theories daily, this is the failure of our
intelligence agencies only blaming. R.A.W
doesn't go to work till now you don't go on time, doesn't do any
investigation to escape blames from your life,
you slogan the R.A.W. , statements you are given must be backed by
evidence so that the world listens to you for instance. Balala gets noble prize
the people of Pakistan will think that this must be the conspiracy against
Pakistan in fact, every time Pakistan accuses India whenever there is a
terrorist attack in Pakistan's city they never are given any proof while,
whenever India accuses Pakistan on the terrorist attack in their city, they
always gave proofs. if we also agree that the proof shown by India and U.S is
wrong then how it is possible that terrorist attack done by India on Pakistan
is always in cities and not on the border. By this logic, it is proved that
India doesn't send any terrorists to Pakistan.
Now, let’s again come to the news about
surgical strike so, the thing that Pakistan's government and their army's stand
are very inconsistent overtime. This time also, their stand is inconsistent
first they denied the strike, then they condemned and then accepted the strike.
Now, the Pakistan latest stand is that there is cross border firing on L.O.C.
but there isn't any surgical strike. Now, I will try to elaborate on the history
regarding the war and how the wars begin. Let's go directly to the point.
The Indian Navy was put on full alert naval
and Coast Guard aircraft began continuous surveillance along. The western coast
a lot of ships of the Eastern fleet were brought to the western fleet to send
out almost rated themselves. To more or less carry out a blockade of ready to
carry out a blockade of Pakistan choke their harbors. At Karachi and elsewhere
and the Pakistanis were shaken you see they had never expected this response.
They felt it would be confined to the Kargil Heights local infantry action that
they found air power brought in then they found the Navy deployed that is what
shook them up.
Amphibious forces of the Indian Navy from the Andaman Islands in the East were moved to the western seaboard as the exercise shifted westwards Pakistan moved all its major warships out of Karachi. It also to escort oil tankers from the Gulf anticipating attacks or a blockade by Indian ships which limited their supplies brothers and Nawaz Sharif later disclosed that at the time. Pakistan had just six days of fuel to sustain itself if a full-fledged war had broken out while the Navy kept a watch on the sea. The fighting in the mountains intensified but the all-important tiger hill still remained in Pakistani hands. Tiger Hill stands 16700 feet high overlooking trois it is a massive feature almost one kilometer wide at his base and was formidably defended by the Pakistanis. The Pakistani northern light infantry had taken positions on top of tiger hill as well as on the high ridge that ran to its west. Several peaks south of tiger hill had also been occupied by the Pakistani soldiers and these provided observation points of the surrounding valleys and rich lands point four six zero a kilometer south of Tiger Hill was within supporting a range of the analysis artillery mounted on Tiger Hill. The Tingle Nala divided the complex and Hill for eight seven five and point four five four zero stood opposite Tiger Hill. Pakistan is defending Tiger Hill and the Western bridge had moved in heavy ammunition to create an engagement area with interlocking fire from multiple sites. An anti-personnel minefield also blocked the approach from 0.45 4-0 a 12.7-millimeter gun atop trig Hill.
A peak two kilometers northwest of tiger
hill provided the Pakistanis additional heavy weapons support their artillery
battery one point four three eight eight fired into the engagement area as
well. The Indian army faced a nearly impossible task in recapturing Tiger Hill
India had captured point four four six zero and late on this provided a base to
direct fire on to Tiger Hill in order to conserve manpower. Pakistan’s northern
light infantry abandoned 0.45 for 0 both his positions were to prove critical
for India in mounting attacks on the tiger hill complex given. The urgency
under climatized and poorly equipped soldiers of the one Naga and the eight
sick were sent to assault. Tiger Hill's murderous cross-track from the
Pakistani positions inflicted heavy casualties of the Indian soldiers and the
assaults failed the unit surrounded.
Tiger Hill and Dagon to wait for the
Pakistan NRI launched counter-attacks but they lacked the numbers to push the
Indian battalions off the hill. NRI soldiers even resorted to rolling boulders
downhill onto the Indian forces then the Indian bombings began as India's
massive bombardment began it stretches the Pakistani positions to the limit.
India continued pounding the forward slopes of Tiger Hill and the ridge with as
many as 1,200 rounds exploding. Every five minutes the Indian army found an
undefended flank released and through this, they launched their attack on Tiger
Hill for at the same time small raiding party penetrated.
Pakistan's line of defense on the Western
Ridge 25 soldiers of the 18grenadiers were ordered to advance and capture Tiger
Hill after scaling the rocks for three nights. There were just 50 meters below
Tiger Hill when a stone slipped giving away their position saying this. The
enemy opened up heavy machine-gun the made and rocket fire and in hand-to-hand
fight. The team leader how old are Madanlal and five soldiers got killed but
seven soldiers who were near the Pakistani bunkers good. Neither advance no
retreat one of them was grenadiers, interesting the other sensing. The gravity
of the situation gains the rather wanted to silence.
The automatic fire of enemy machine gun which was coming from a bunker by throwing a grenade inside it. He mustered up his courage crawled up to the bunker and lobbed grenades inside the machinegun bunker and killing four Pakistanis in ityogi. Addressing sustained fifteen bullet injuries and was the sole survivor of the seven soldiers of the 18th green ideas who stayed on to fight the Pakistanis. They desperately tried to counter-attack to join their lines on July 8th facing near-certain defeat the nli abandoned. Tiger Hill leaving all their dead behind while most of the Kargil war was fought around Cargill. There was one battle that was fought on the sea urchin glacier. Pakistan's nli had occupied the Pilar post 19,000 feet high the highest point that divides Indian and Pakistani positions in sea urchin. A height where soldiers have to fight for every breath in an amazing feat of mountaineering 48 heroic men of the Indian Army climbed 1,800 feet of the near-vertical rock face to surprise the Pakistanis and recapture bailout post.
On June 27th, 1999 such is the grit of
the Indian soldier but for the Cardinal, the war to end Nawaz Sharif had to rush to
Washington. On June 27th, Pakistan's army chief announced ata press
conference that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would shortly be leaving for Washington
to meet President Bill Clinton to find a solution to the Kargil crisis. At that
time Nawaz Sharif was in Beijing meeting the leaders of China on June 28. He
abruptly ended his China visit and returned to Pakistan in Washington.
President Clinton changed the dates of his planned vacation to meet Nawaz
Sharif.
The US had even pushed for Prime Minister
Atal Bihari Vajpayee to travel to Washington but watch by refused Bill Clinton
met Nawaz Sharif on July the 4th. Behind the scenes Pakistani and US
officials sat across the table to hammer out the exact wording for the
declaration that would follow Bill Clinton's national security adviser. Samuel
Berger constantly discussed the wording with vaj bhai's security adviser Rajesh
mushara in Washington in Delhi. Prime Minister Vajpayee waited for President
Clinton to call and tell him that Pakistan would withdraw its remaining troops
with immediate effect by July 11th. The remaining units of the
northern light infantry began pulling back across the LOC as Indian bombardment
continued and Indian troops recaptured key peaks in the Batali sector. India
set a deadline of July 16th for all Pakistanis to return to their side of the
line of control (LOC).
On July the 12th Nawaz Sharif went on
television to explain to his people why Pakistan was retreating from Kargil. The
war in Cargill officially ended on 26 July but it had far-reaching consequences
for the future. Cargill was the beginning of a tussle between Pervez Musharraf
and Nawaz Sharif that resulted in Sharif being ousted in a military coup and
Musharraf taking over as dictator. Today the wheel is turned again with Nawaz
Sharif's back in power and Musharraf being tried for treason. India learned
many lessons from Cargill it Asheton long-term changes in the Army's deployment
and response strategy along the line of control as the economy boomed defense
spending kept going up year after year. Cargill also made the Bofors guns
legendary and in Cargill, the Indian Air Force wrote the instruction manual for
high-altitude air warfare but war is war and whether our guns and glory. There
is also terrible death and suffering, the series with the idea streaked hope
that there are no more wars that glory does not depend on the barrel of a gun.
